JOSEPH ESKENAZI PERNIDJI (05/11/1920 - 28/03/2007)
Holds a degree in Law from University of Brazil Law School, 1944. Joined the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ) in April 1945.
Started his law firm in 1945, concentrating on commercial law issues. Pioneered the introduction of "the facto consortium" in the Brazilian Corporate Law.
Actively participated in the drafting of contracts between Brazilian corporations and foreign companies that brought sizable contracts to the country in a wide range of operations such as railways, powerplants and pipelines.
Pro bono attorney to the Israeli Embassy in Brazil.
